With standing seam, we normally tear off all the old roofing down to the decking. One rule we never break: we never install over rotten or damaged decking. Bad decking gets replaced before anything new goes on.
Standing seam panels are normally formed on site, then installed with the Euro-Lock seam along with new flashing and trim.
